Ana Ruiz Constán is a Scientist at the CN Geological and Mining Institute of Spain (IGME, CSIC). His main line of research is based on the application of various geophysical prospecting techniques (gravimetry, magnetometry, electrical and electromagnetic methods) and their integration with structural data in 3D geological models. The 3D models are for the characterization of geodynamic structures and processes, the use and management of geological resources or storages and the identification and quantification of geological hazards of internal origin. She actively participates in geology dissemination activities and currently coordinates the Geolodía and Geocharlas initiatives. In the period 2018-2020 she was coordinator of the Women and Geology Commission and, since 2020, she is vice president of the Geological Society of Spain.
