PhD in Geological Sciences from the Complutense University of Madrid. With more than 20 years of professional career, she has worked in various institutions: Faculty of Geological Sciences of Madrid, Institute of Earth Sciences "Jaume Almera" (currently Geosciences Barcelona, GEO3BCN-CSIC) and Geological and Mining Institute of Spain (IGME-CSIC), her line of work focuses on the application of geophysical methods, mainly gravimetry and magnetometry, for the geological characterization of the subsoil. Since 2005 he has been actively involved in national and international 3D geological modelling projects applied to CO2 storage, mineral resources and basic science research. He has worked in the main geological units of the Iberian Peninsula: Sistema Central, Macizo Hespérico, Cordillera Ibérica and the Pyrenees, and internationally on projects in the Dominican Republic, Angola (PLANAGEO), Uganda (airborne geophysics in the Karamoja region) and Antarctica (National Plan projects).
