PhD in Mining Engineering, she has been a Senior Scientist at the CN IGME-CSIC since 2000, with a break of almost 10 years working internationally on energy resources. After her return to the CN IGME-CSIC in 2016, she is working on geological storage (CO2, H2), being responsible for European projects of Horizon Europe (and Horizon 2020) and geological storage coordinator in the National Geological Service. Leader/co-leader of the geological storage group in several national and international organisations (PTECO2 and EuroGeoSurvey) and member of the Executive Committee of the European Network of Excellence in CO2 Geological Storage (CO2GeoNet).
