The video shows the paleogeographic situation every 5 Ma of the different terrains that constitute the Caribbean area and its progressive accretion to North America.

As a result of the project, the video shows the geodynamic reconstruction of the Caribbean region from 90 Ma to the Present, carried out with the geodynamic modeling software GPlates V2.3 (Müller et al., 2018; www.gplates.org).
