Santiago Ledesma. Doctor. Head of Geoscience TRINITY ENERGY STORAGE.

PhD in Geological Sciences (University of Salamanca, 2001) and Master in Exploration and Production of Hydrocarbons (Repsol-Heriot Watt University, 2002); he participates in several scientific research projects. He has more than 20 years of experience in geosciences applied to the oil and gas E&P industry. He started his professional career in 2002 in the geological consultancy Gessal, later joining Petroleum Oil & Gas España SA as exploration geologist, where he was promoted to Head of Exploration (2004). In 2007 the company was acquired by the Gas Natural Group, where he held the position of Head of the Geology Department (Upstream) until Dec 2022, when Naturgy transferred the upstream assets to Trinity Capital SL. He is currently Head of Geosciences at Trinity Energy Storage; a gas company that operates underground natural gas storage facilities in the Guadalquivir valley and participates in R&D projects linked to the energy transition.
