Contracted by the University of Salamanca (2000-2001) for mapping and geochemistry in a slate mining area for roofing materials (Cambrian to Silurian ages).
Project fellow at IGME in 2002 and 2003, carrying out mapping work for the National Geological Map at a scale of 1:50,000 (12 sheets), mainly in Alpine areas.
Training fellowship projects from 2003 to 2007, conducting mapping work on deformed volcanic materials of Neoproterozoic age in the Iberian Massif.
Employment contract in 2007 for geological mapping in the execution project of the high-speed railway line between León and Pola de Lena (Spain), in the external zone of the Iberian Massif.
Since 2007, assistant professor at the University of Oviedo. Engaged in numerous contracts with mining companies and linear infrastructure projects for the realization of geological mapping in various materials (from Precambrian to Tertiary) in different areas of the Iberian Massif, Betic and Iberian Cordilleras, and Vasco-Cantabrian Basin.
Participation in the research projects Paleoandes-II and Torandes, which aim to map the Paleozoic basement of the frontal Andean Cordillera between Argentina and Chile.
In recent years, he has published numerous articles in scientific journals and attended national and international conferences.
