Scientist at CN IGME-CSIC. Geologist and Technical Mining Engineer completed his doctoral thesis at the University of Granada on the recent tectonic evolution in the south of Almería (South of Spain). He has participated in the GEODE Plan (Continuous Geological Cartography of the Internal Betic Zones), ALGECO2 Plan (Evaluation of CO2 Geological Storage Areas), among other projects. His main line of research is linking to 3D geological modeling for the characterization of reservoirs (CO2, H2 storage, deep aquifers, etc.). He is especially interested in the integration of surface and subsurface information such as geological cartography, geophysical prospecting data, and boreholes.
