Graduated in Geology and PhD from the University of Oviedo, at the Higher School of Mining Engineers since 2013, and from the University of Seville, at the Faculty of History since 2021.

His professional and research career combines private business, where He was responsible for geology and mining in several mining companies, with that of a Career Official as a Specialized Senior Technician of the Public Research Organizations at the CN IGME-CSIC. From this organization he has participated in and directed several projects related to the mining of industrial rocks and minerals, as well as the publication of several cartographies on a regional scale in Spain, natural stone and historical stonework associated with architectural heritage (INCHaPA).

Since 2018, he has coordinated the exploration of ornamental rocks and industrial minerals in the southwestern area of ​​the Republic of Angola, within the CARMINA program (Cartas de Rochas e Minerais Industriais) of the PLANAGEO project, being the author of a wide variety of maps and technical reports related to potential geological resources.
