Doctorate in Geological Sciences (UNIZAR, 2002) and in Agrarian Sciences and the Natural Environment (UNIZAR, 2009) I began my scientific career at the Center for Agro-Food Research and Technology of Aragón (CITA) interspersed periods in which I worked as a University Professor at the Higher Polytechnic School of Huesca and as a freelancer for the Ebro Hydrographic Confederation and the Department of Agriculture of the Government of Aragon.

During this professional period I did a postdoctoral stay at the Water Resources Department of the University of Wageningen (Holland) and I studied the Postgraduate Course in Groundwater Hydrology at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia.

Since 2009 I have been a Senior Scientist at the Spanish Geological and Mining Institute in Zaragoza (IGME), obtaining, among other merits, the Research Award from the Royal Academy of Sciences.
