Pedro Pinto received his BSc in Geology from the Faculty of Sciences - University of Lisbon and a MSc in Petroleum Engineering from IST –University of Lisbon. He has 10 years’ experience in the O&G industry with focus on:

1.  Reservoir Management,
2. High-performance/multicultural team management,
3. Subsurface studies and Integrated Reservoir Modelling,
4. Reservoir Simulation studies,
5. Reserves Management. Pedro started his career with PARTEX Oil & Gas working in projects in Kazakhstan and the Middle East.

He later joined TOTAL ENERGIES in a Kazakhstan operated asset in 2018, where he was responsible for leading the subsurface studies for the exploration efforts of the subsidiary, as well as being the Chief Reservoir Engineer, in charge of the reservoir simulation and SEC reserves booking duties. He also has experience in the academia, having spent time as a researcher in the Petroleum Institute of Abu Dhabi, developing modelling methodologies for carbonate reservoirs.
