Base of the Bartonian at the Nardués-Andurra section (Southpyrenean Basin).

It shows the marine marls of the Larrés Formation and the carbonate nodules it hosts, which are composed by ferroan dolomite and represent the sedimentary expression of the Middle Eocene Climate Optimum.
