Fundación Ciudad de la Energía – CIUDEN, F.S.P.

The Energy City Foundation – CIUDEN, F.S.P. It was created in 2006. It is an organization of the Government of Spain to execute R&D&I programs related to energy and the environment and contribute to the economic development of the Bierzo region (province of León).

The Energy City Foundation is a state public sector foundation, attached to the Institute for Fair Transition, and dependent on the State Secretariat for Energy of the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (MITECO).

The General Directorate of the Foundation has been occupied by Yasodhara López since May 2023.
