Carolina Guardiola Albert es doctora en Ingeniería Hidráulica y Medio Ambiente por la Universidad Politécnica de Valencia (2004) y licenciada en Ciencias Físicas por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid (1997). Tiene dos posgrados: en geoestadística por la Escuela de Minas de París (1998) y en hidrogeología por la Fundación Internacional de Hidrogeología (2004). En el año 2006 comenzó a trabajar como investigadora en el Instituto Geológico y Minero de España (IGME-CSIC). Actualmente es la Presidenta del Capítulo Español de la Asociación Internacional de Hidrogeólogos.

Carolina Guardiola Albert has a PhD in Hydraulic and Environmental Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (2004) and a degree in Physical Sciences from the Complutense University of Madrid (1997). He has two postgraduate degrees: in geostatistics from the Paris School of Mines (1998) and in hydrogeology from the International Hydrogeology Foundation (2004). In 2006 she began working as a researcher at the Geological and Mining Institute of Spain (IGME-CSIC). She is currently the President of the Spanish Chapter of the International Association of Hydrogeologists.
