Estudio de los efectos geológicos de terremotos mediante técnicas de paleosismología, espeleosismología y geomorfología tectónica. Aplicación en Geología de Emergencias y gestión de Catástrofes. Estudio de precursores sísmicos mediante emisiones de gases en fallas activas, utilizando cuevas profundas. Además, trabajo en la aplicación de técnicas de liquenometría para la datación de caídas de rocas y formación de escarpes de fallas mediante grandes terremotos "on-shore".
